Nauru commemorates World Aids Day

The walk commenced at Anibare Lodge and ended at the health clinic at Anibare boat harbor where participants enjoyed refreshments of water and fruits.

World Aids Day is commemorated on 1 December each year.

According to the Nauru Global AIDS Progress Report 2015, the island nation registered the first case of HIV in a Nauru citizen in 2014.
