Australia wants Kanye West fully vaccinated before any concert tour

The warning comes just two weeks after tennis superstar Novak Djokovic’s hopes for a Grand Slam title were dashed when a court upheld the government’s decision to cancel his visa over COVID-19 rules and his unvaccinated status.

“The rules are you have to be fully vaccinated,” Morrison told a news conference.

“They apply to everybody, as people have seen most recently. It doesn’t matter who you are, they are the rules. Follow the rules – you can come. You don’t follow the rules, you can’t.”

It's being held for the first time since 2019 after the 2020 festival was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The festival runs across two weekends in April in Indio, California, with the same line-up appearing on them both.

Swedish House Mafia, Flume, Megan Thee Stallion, Disclosure, Doja Cat and Run the Jewels will also perform.

Billie Eilish will become the festival's youngest ever headliner.

Coachella was set to be headlined by Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean, but was postponed several times.

     

Kanye West officially changes his name to Ye

A Los Angeles judge granted the rapper's name change request, a communications officer at the Los Angeles Superior Court confirmed.

The 44-year-old star filed the request in August, citing "personal reasons."

The rapper, best known for hits such as Gold Digger and Stronger, already used Ye as a nickname and in 2018 used it as an album title.

Shortly after the album's release, he tweeted: "The being formally known as Kanye West. I am YE."

Now he's made it official and his previous full name - Kanye Omari West - is no more.

Controversial rapper DaBaby and rock star Marilyn Manson, who has recently denied multiple accusations of sexual abuse, also attended the event.

Almost 40,000 fans were invited to the Soldier Field stadium, where on-site vaccinations were offered to attendees.

It is the third time he has held a listening party for Donda, his 10th studio album, which is named after his late mother.

"They have been living separately for the last few months," a friend of Kardashian West told CNN but requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the situation. "They have been in marriage counseling and have discussed divorce, it's on the table."

The rapper shared an image of his own silhouette in front of a multicoloured American map. It appeared to simultaneously acknowledge he was out of the race and look to the future, with the slogan: "Kanye 2024." 

According to Deadline, just over 60,000 Americans voted for West to be their next president, with over 10,000 of those coming from Tennessee. Some more votes are expected to trickle in as the counting continues. 

West only made it onto the ballot as an Independent candidate in a dozen of the 50 states. 

Kanye wants to 'rip apart' music industry rules

In an in-depth interview with Billboard magazine, the star added he wanted to "rip apart" the conventions on how artists get paid.

"You have to adapt," he said. "You can't have old rules for new games."

The rapper said his ultimate goal was for all artists to own the copyright to their recordings.

Shortly after the interview ran on Billboard's website, West announced he was giving all the artists signed to his label, GOOD Music, the 50% share he holds in their master recordings.
