The former Power, Tigers and Demons player will be goal umpire in the VFL this year with the hope of advancing to the big league by 2017.

Former Blue Andrew Carazzo has turned his attention to field umpiring and will feature in the Victorian Amateur Football Association this year and maybe the TAC Cup, before advancing to the VFL with an eye to an AFL job in 2018.

The country was abuzz with excitement!

The organization Save the Children funded the visit as part of their community engagement programs and they worked with AFL Nauru, Connect and AFL Australia to make it happen.

On September 9, retired AFL star David Rodan accompanied by AFL Ben Drew arrived in Nauru.
