Nauru Airlines to begin flights to Guam in June

Nauru Airlines CEO, Geoff Bowmaker, made the announcement at the South Pacific Tourism Exchange in Sydney yesterday.

"We will begin flights in June or the latest by July," Bowman said.

This will mean access to Guam from Brisbane, Honiara, Suva, Tarawa, Pohnpei and Majuro.

Passengers from the Pacific currently access Guam through Japan, Taiwan, Korea and the Philippines.

Other options are island hopping from Honolulu through the Marshall islands and Federated States of Micronesia.

South Pacific Association sponsors IATA courses

The courses provide capacity building and accreditation for the locals that have been working in the Airline Industry in their respective Airline Flagship, such as REAL Tonga – Tonga’s Kingdom Airline, Polynesian Airline – Airline of Samoa, Solomon Airlines, Air Kiribati and our very own Nauru Airlines.

These courses have been on-going over the last several months in Nadi Fiji, whereby 1 to 3 participants from the respective airlines have attended accordingly.
