Four Nauru boys are in Brisbane preparing for their first game against North Queensland in the U 16 Qld State Championships on Wednesday.
The boys are part of the 25-member South Pacific team which includes 14 players from Papua New Guinea, three from Fiji, two from Solomon Islands one from Tonga.
Nauru Stars Assistant Coach Kudaman Satory Namaduk and the four Nauru boys flew out to join the rest of the team.
The U16 Qld State championships will be held from April 26 until May 2.
