In a first for Nauru, identical twins April Ann Tsiode and April Anna Tsiode tied the knot with the love of their lives in the presence of relatives and friends.
The wedding last Friday was the most talked about event on the island.
Families and friends of the Tsiode twins and their bridegrooms converged at Orro Church in Aiwo eager to be a part of the historical event.
Guests were not disappointed in what many said was a beautiful ceremony filled with love, joy, happiness and a few tears shed here and there.
The wedding was supposed to take place on Wednesday, September 28.
However, in the midst of preparations, April Ann, who was nine months pregnant went into labour and gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
April Ann married Harley Dowabobo and her twin sister, April Anna married Mambo Quadina.
The double wedding reception was held at in the Conference Hall at the Civic Centre in Aiwo.
