Twenty-four participants received certificates for completing a Human Resources course provided by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) in Nauru.
A graduation ceremony was held Thursday where students performed a special cultural chant called the “Ruwo” and a local dance.
The chief guest was AHRI’s representative Paul Beagley.
AHRI has a training contract with the Government of the Republic of Nauru to deliver a range of HR courses in 2015.
The Nauru Public Service has been undergoing significant public sector reform and transformation and their HR department is endeavouring to make inroads and improvements across their HR department.
