Digicel Nauru recently rolled out their Power Up Your Data promotion giving customers the chance to win a Grand Prize of a scooter as well as 2 (two) iPads runner up prizes.
The promotion has been running for 3 months and has now ended on 30th of September, 2015.
The September Grand Prize winner was Mr. Papa Ratabwiy who won a brand new Yamaha scooter worth over AUD$2,000 with the two runner up prizes of iPads being presented to Ms. Eniga Bod and Mr. Brad. Gilla. The prize giving was attended by Jezza Uepa with the winners announce live on Local radio where Jezza called the winners live during the FM 105 Radio Nauru show.
During the Summer months to September this year, Digicel customers participated by topping up using any of the top up channels at their disposal: online, My Digicel App, scratch cards, Digicel Mobile Money and through dealers and resellers.
To qualify to enter Digicel's “Power Up Your Data” promotion, all prepaid customers simply needed to do was to purchase Top Up of $10 or more and activate a data plan. Every Top Up earns another chance to win. It’s that easy.
Digicel Nauru CEO, Ben Kealy, said that the Digicel was committed to continuously enhancing customer experience with its products and services. These data bundles, that are valid for seven days after date of purchase, can be used to access data, make on-net calls as well as send online messages, watch videos and stream music.
Digicel Brand Ambassador and Nauru’s World Champion power lifter, Jezza Uepa has been the face of this promotion. Jezza recently returned with Nauru’s powerlifting team to the recent 2015 Pacific Games held in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Jezza achieved a gold medal in the 120+kg weight class.
Team total Medal Talley was Gold – 4 (four), Silver – 6 )(six), Bronze – 2 (two), and two athletes placed fourth.
The promotion ended September 30th.
