The Tigers defeated the Blues 3-1 in the curtain raiser game for the Under 14 AFL Grand Final.
The game featured a better final term by the Blues outscoring Tigers 3 goa
The Blue played, kicking to the bridge side goals. They were much better at the contest and tackled well.
Final scores showed that the Tigers 10.9.69 defeated Blues 4.4.28.
Blues also took a slender lead after the first term kicking to the Yaren-end goals.
The Tigers opened the scoring but settling down the Blues peppered their goals but wayward kicking didn't advance their score.
