Digicel Nauru welcomes new CEO

Digicel Nauru is delighted to announce the appointment of Deepak Khanna as their new Chief Executive Officer.

No stranger to Digicel, Khanna has served till recently as their Chief Customer Officer in Samoa. He brings with him a wealth of telecom experience from Digicel’s Pacific Markets including Papua New Guinea, Tonga and Samoa.

Digicel Regional CEO, Pacific Group, Colin Stone said,” Deepak has considerable commercial and strategic wealth of knowledge and experience in commercial, ICT technology and customer relations across the Pacific region. His recent work in Samoa is testament of the same. He has the full support of the Senior Management and the Board of Digicel to continue to deliver exceptional services to the Government and the people of Nauru. His appointment to lead the business in Nauru will add valuable impetus to Digicel’s continued growth and evolution in the Pacific.”

Commenting on his appointment, Khanna said,” It has truly been a privilege and an honor to be appointed the CEO of Digicel Nauru and I will endeavour to give my very best effort for this role. Khanna started in the position three weeks ago, taking over from out-going CEO, Francis Thomsen, who has been appointed as the CEO of Digicel Tonga.
