Scott Eastwood: ‘Honored’ to Be Part of Fast 8

Sounds like Scott Eastwood is looking forward to his upcoming film, Fast 8.

On the red carpet at the Suicide Squad premiere in New York City, the actor talked to E! News' Marc Malkin about how much it means for him to be a part of the Fast and the Furious family and how he's looking forward to honoring Paul Walker's legacy.

"Paul was one of my best friends and to add to his story, to be a part of his family and all the great people and cast that are there, it's like a dream come true," Eastwood said.

His kind words echoed a moving statement he posted on Instagram back in April about how Walker's death in 2013 affected him on a personal level.

"Paul was a close friend of mine," he wrote. "We surfed together, travelled together, and he was a huge role model and influencing figure in my life when I was younger. He still is. He was an older brother to me. For me to be able to add to the F&F story, Paul's story, and the FAST family is like a dream come true."

At the premiere, Eastwood also mentioned how excited he was to be working with Charlize Theron, another newcomer to the franchise.

Although he dashed our dreams by advising us not to look forward to any steamy scenes between the two of them, he said Theron is "fantastic" and "amazing."
