Savage scores sweet Fast and Furious soundtrack spot

For one Kiwi rapper that dream has become a reality.

Savage has been given the high profile boost of having his song Push featured on the soundtrack for The Fate of the Furious, the eighth instalment of the car racing franchise.

The second trailer for the movie debuted during the Super Bowl on Monday, a one minute clip that teases more high stakes action.

Savage posted about the huge score on Facebook, writing his trademark phrase, "Cheehoo" and hashtagging it with "#yourwelcome"

The wrestler turned actor once again took to Instagram to speak about his final week of shooting Fast 8, but his tune seemed to have changed a bit since his frustrated rant just a few days ago.

In an emotional Facebook post, the actor-producer praised the movie's crew, Universal Studios Entertainment and his "amazing" female co-stars.

But he made a point to note that his "male co-workers however are a different story," writing.

"Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s--t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."
