AFL holds clinic for boys and girls in Nauru

Junior boys and girls were invited to run around the field and learn some basic ball handling skills in a clinic organized by AFL Oceania Development Officer, Ben Drew and AFL Nauru.

The children were divided into two teams.

The younger ones were led by Drew and the older ones by Scott Cain and they played a friendly match.

Gender equality is an important issue with football and they encouraged girls and mothers to participate.

A number of girls turned up and they all received a backpack which included cap, banners, stickers and more.

The participants were all excited and their faces lit up as they collected their backpacks.
