Virtual Concert

ABBA reunite to launch incredible virtual concert

Agnetha, Frida, Benny and Bjorn reunited for the opening night of the concert, which features digital versions of the band.

Frida watched the show with a wide grin across her face, while Benny stood up and clapped along to Dancing Queen.

They took a curtain call at the end, to deafening applause from the audience.

"Abba has never left us, in my heart," singer Agnetha Faltskog told the BBC on the red carpet.

"It was not such a difficult decision [to reunite] because the music is part of us."

Pacific artists unite against Covid-19

The virtual concert is a first-of-its-kind in the Pacific and calls on leaders and citizens across the region to work together with the rest of the world in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last weekend, the United Nations in the Pacific brought together artists, heads of State, UN leaders and international celebrities - even royalty - to the event which was broadcast and streamed around the Pacific.

Robbie Williams to rejoin Take That for virtual gig

The online charity concert will see the 46-year-old and his ex-bandmates Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald each perform from their own respective homes, due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

A bit like your current work morning meeting, but with added 90s hits.

It is the first time Williams has performed with the band since the 2018 X Factor final.

It also means only Jason Orange is the only one missing from the original Take That line-up, which released its debut album Take That and Party almost three decades ago.
