Look at What You Made Me Do is the first single from the singer's sixth studio album, Reputation.

It came after a week-long social media blackout where she removed all her previous posts declaring that the old Taylor is "dead".

But it's a short clip from a preview Taylor tweeted that's caused controversy.

At around 12 seconds in, the artist "formerly known as old Taylor", is seen in military attire standing in formation.

The similarities led music video director Joseph Kahn to tweet...

But some fans didn't take too kindly to those comments.

Fans noticed on Friday that past posts from the singer's Instagram and Twitter accounts had been removed, and her profile pictures gone.

The move has started speculation among fans that new music is imminent from the artist, who last released an album in 2014.

But other people are saying that her accounts have been compromised by hackers.

It's not yet clear exactly what has happened, but there are still some older posts on Taylor Swift's Twitter and Facebook pages - but nothing after 2015.

And while the case continues, experts hope the impact of seeing a celebrity as prominent as Swift speak up about her own alleged sexual assault will send a message of courage to her fans.

"This is one of those examples where we really could be looking at culture change for young people, if we really talk about the impact of what she's doing," Monika Johnson-Hostler, president of National Alliance to End Sexual Violence told CNN.

Courtroom sketches of the superstar singer are being derided on social media for not quite capturing her famous visage.

Tweets about the renderings of Swift have provided levity for some in an otherwise serious case of alleged sexual assault.

Swift has accused former Denver radio DJ David Mueller of inappropriately touching her at a backstage meet-and-greet at one of her concerts in June 2013.

Photographers are not being allowed in the courtroom, so a courtroom sketch artist has been providing visual documentation.

Ms Swift, 27, accuses broadcaster David Mueller of slipping his hand under her dress while they posed backstage together at one of her 2013 concerts.

Her lawyer said in his opening statement at the court in Denver, Colorado, that Mr Mueller had "grabbed her rear end".

Mr Mueller sued the singer in September 2015, calling her allegation false.

He said she had cost him his $150,000-a-year job as a host at country station KYGO-FM.

 On Tuesday, jurors were shown a photograph of the alleged assault at a VIP room meet-and-great before the gig on 2 June 2013.

The superstar singer is expected to testify in a civil case filed by a Denver disc jokey who claims he lost his job after Swift accused him of groping her backstage at one of her concerts in 2013.

According to pre-trial legal documents obtained by CNN, David Mueller, who was known professionally as "Jackson," maintains that Swift and co-defendents, including her mother Andrea Swift, falsely accused him of improperly touching her during a meet-and-greet that he attended for his then employer, KYGO radio.

Asked whether she'd respond to Taylor's track Bad Blood, Katy said there wasn't anything on her latest record that was "calling out any one person".

"This record is not about anyone else. This record is about me being seen and heard so that I can see and hear everyone else. It's not even about me," she told Entertainment Weekly.

"[But] you can't mistake kindness for weakness," she added.

"Don't come for me. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone.

Remember how 2015 pretty much became the year of Swift, when she took on streaming giant Apple music -- and won?

Less than a year ago, Swift was making headlines -- almost daily -- for her romance with actor Tom Hiddleston (remember the glorious months of "HiddleSwift"?) and her feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West.

These days, the outgoing and prolific Swift is unusually quiet. She rarely posts on social media and seemingly abandoned her new-album-every-two-years habit.

"Swifties" -- as her fans are called -- are getting antsy.

The estate was built in 1934 by Samuel Goldwyn, one of America's most famous independent movie producers.

Taylor Swift bought the property in Beverly Hills for $25m (£20.7m) in January 2015.

It has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a library, theatre, guest suite with separate entrance and servants quarters located above a garage.

Architect Douglas Honnold designed the estate.

After he died in 1974, the house passed to his son - Samuel Goldwyn Jr - who put it on the market in 2008 for $24m (£19.8m).

The singer surprised Cyrus Porter, a 96-year-old World War II veteran, at his Missouri home on Monday.

The moment Swift walked through the door, his family erupted into screams and tears.

The pop star posed for pictures and even brought along her guitar for an acoustic rendition of her hit "Shake It Off." Porter, who has 20 grandchildren, sang along with his family.
