Wallabies star arrested over alleged sexual assault

The 28-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted at a licensed venue in Bondi on Saturday, 17 December.

ABC reports the Wallabies player was arrested in Kingsford about 2.30pm yesterday after a vehicle he was travelling in was stopped on Rainbow Street.

The 34-year-old has been taken to Waverley Police Station where he is currently being questioned and is expected to be charged.

Beale has played most of his career with the NSW Waratahs but also had a short spell at Melbourne Rebels.

He joined French team Racing 92 on a two-year deal in 2020.

The unnamed woman, who has filed her legal claim in California, says she "was panicked and terrified" at the time, in a bathroom at a TV studio.

Her lawsuit comes days before the US star is due to join other rap giants on stage at the Super Bowl half-time show.

Snoop has denied the claims, according to TMZ, and wrote on Instagram that "gold digger season is here".

The woman, who is described as a dancer, model, host and actress, says Snoop burst in on her when she was feeling unwell, and forced her to perform oral sex.

In the court documents, his legal team submitted several reasons why they believe the case should be dismissed.

The 11-page document filed on Wednesday states that Prince Andrew "admits that he met Epstein in or around 1999," but denies that he participated in any abuse with the late financier.
