Gallen calls out SBW...again

RNZ reports Gallen's resumed training in his stop-start boxing career ahead of two scheduled bouts in December.

Dual international, Roosters premiership winner and two-time Rugby World Cup winner Williams is in Gallen's sights.

But Williams is currently out of action for another six months after injuring his Achilles playing sevens rugby at the Rio Olympics.

"I have said openly I want to fight Sonny Bill, unfortunately we haven't heard the same thing back so I don't know if he wants to," Gallen said.

Quade Cooper and Sonny Bill Williams set to face off in Sydney Sevens pool match

The Wallabies and the third-ranked All Blacks are scheduled to meet at 9pm on Saturday in the nightcap of the opening day's play.

Williams was picked in New Zealand's squad on Monday on the back of a fluctuating performance in the third leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series in Wellington over the weekend.

"I'm really pleased with how I went this weekend to tell you the truth," Williams said afterwards.

"The pleasing thing is being able to be in an environment where, even though I'm a rookie, everyone wants to help you out."

Sonny Bill Williams gives sevens tickets away to inspiring Porirua mum

Williams tweeted this week he was looking to help someone in Porirua, to honour the memory of recently departed All Black Jerry Collins, who grew up there.

And he found his fan in Winnie, a single mother of five.

SBW shocks with graphic photos

The two images, which Stuff has chosen not to publish due to their graphic nature, show young children lying on the ground with wounds to their heads, torso and legs.

"What did these children do to deserve this?" Williams tweeted on Tuesday evening.

This summer share a thought for the innocent lives lost everyday in war."

Paul Gallen wants to fight SBW

Gallen (4-0) and Williams (7-0) both remain undefeated in the heavyweight boxing division, however busy schedules in their chosen rugby codes have meant a bout has been almost impossible.

"We're talking about it but I suppose it's just hard to line our two schedules up," Cronulla forward Gallen told Fox Sports News.

Picture of Sonny Bill Williams having hijama cupping therapy provokes mixed reaction

The process involves blood being sucked out of the body.

The former NRL premiership-winner, who converted to Islam in 2008, revealed his use of hijama cupping therapy, an age-old Muslim procedure in which small glass cups vacuum blood from small incisions.

In the picture, Williams is hunched over a chair with six blood-spattered bell-shaped cups attached to his back. Two longer shaped cups protrude from his neck.

"Detox time", the Rugby World Cup winner titled the post, followed by an emoticon of two hands raised in celebration and another representing clear skin.
