Geoff Bowmaker retires as Nauru Air Corporation CEO

“Geoff has seen many changes during his tenure and has guided the airline through its highs and lows along the way,” Mr Jensen said Wednesday.

“On behalf of the Nauru Airlines Board, management and staff, I would like to express our appreciation to Geoff for his many valued years of service with the airline”

Bowmaker, who has spent almost 40 years working in the aviation sector in Australia and overseas, has held leadership roles with Qantas and the national airlines of Fiji, Tonga and Namibia.

England great Frank Lampard retires

RNZ reports Lampard, who started his career at West Ham United, established himself as one of Europe's finest midfield players during a 13-year spell at Chelsea.

"After 21 incredible years, I have decided that now is the right time to finish my career as a professional footballer," Lampard said in a statement.

"Whilst I have received a number of exciting offers to continue playing at home and abroad, at 38 I feel now is the time to begin the next chapter in my life.

ANZ Pacific CEO to retire

Mohan’s last day will be 30 April.

ANZ Group Executive and CEO New Zealand David Hisco paid tribute to Mohan.

“Vishnu has steadfastly helped build ANZ Pacific into the strong business that it is today,” Hisco said.

“In particular, Vishnu passionately and diligently helped build ANZ’s significant presence in Papua New Guinea and he’s been a great advocate for the development of Pacific nationals. We’ll always be grateful to him for that.”
