In his address, Chief Justice Khan spoke of court efficiency, the importance of annual legal conference, continuing legal education and the extension of the court registry. He acknowledged the government of Nauru for their support of the courts and thanked staff “for their dedication” and hard work.
Acting Secretary for Justice Bhavna Narayan stressed the importance of law practitioners familiarising themselves with Election Petition Rules 2019 and the functions of the Court of Disputed Returns.
