iOS 9 gets hit by download errors

Apple's watchOS 2 release delayed due to bug

Scheduled to roll out today (September 16) alongside the iPhone and iPad-friendly iOS 9 patch, the watchOS 2 has now been officially pushed back by Apple at the last minute.

"We have discovered a bug in development of watchOS 2 that is taking a bit longer to fix than we expected. We will not release watchOS 2 today but will shortly," an official Apple spokesperson told Digital Spy.

Despite confirming the delay, the iPhone 6S maker has failed to confirm when exactly we can now expect the first major Apple Watch software update to land.

The move thrusts Google on to Apple's turf in an attempt to boost the lackluster sales of watches running on its Android Wear software. The program uniting the devices running on different operating systems is being released Monday in Apple's app store.

Until now, Android watches only worked with smartphones powered by Android software, just as the Apple Watch is designed to be tethered exclusively to the iPhone.

New iPhone 6S is going to change selfies forever

If you thought it was overloaded with selfies before, just wait. It's only going to get worse. But there's also some good news: If you decide to take a selfie it's going to be vastly improved—if you get the new iPhone 6S of course.

Whispers of what this mysterious new phone will include have been swirling for weeks now. Will it be pink? Will it be rose gold? Is Siri finally going to get her s--t together? Well there still aren't a lot of answers (and there isn't a release date yet either), but we're feeling very encouraged by the latest piece of news to hit the rumor mill.
