Emma Watson is leaving copies of 'The Handmaid's Tale' around Paris

The British actress joined forces with The Book Fairies, an international organization of volunteers who anonymously leave second-hand or donated books in public spaces, to hide free copies of Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale" around Paris on Wednesday and Thursday.

Watson wins first gender-neutral MTV TV & Movie Award for Beauty & the Beast

The former Harry Potter star picked up the best big-screen actor gong for her role as Belle in Beauty & the Beast and said it was "very meaningful".

She beat other male stars including James McAvoy and Hugh Jackman.

"The first acting award... that doesn't separate nominees based on their sex says something about how we perceive the human experience," she said.

"MTV's move to create a genderless award for acting will mean something different to everyone.

Emma Watson private photos stolen in 'hack'

A spokesman for the Beauty and the Beast star confirmed the pictures - which show her trying on various outfits - were stolen.

"Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen," her publicist said.

"They are not nude photographs. Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further."

Why Emma Watson won't take selfies with fans

That's why the actress is declining selfies with fans these days.

"For me, it's the difference between being able to have a life and not," Watson recently told Vanity Fair. "If someone takes a photograph of me and posts it, within two seconds they've created a marker of exactly where I am within 10 meters."

The former child star is soon to attract even more fans when her latest film, a live action version of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," hits theaters March 17.
