Digicel install FREE Wi-Fi in Nauru school’s

The new 3G unwired Wi-Fi is part of Digicel roll out of its new unwired 3G service. 

CEO at Digicel, Ben Kealy, said that: “he was delighted to support the local schools programme and hoped that access to FREE Wi-Fi would help the children of Nauru develop their education.  He went onto say that it was part of Digicel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and is now part of supporting the many Communities in Nauru.

These new 3G unwired units are available at the Digicel Flag ship store at the Civic Centre.

Digicel sponsors Nauru Rugby

The team has just competed in the recent Oceania Sevens and Nauru Rugby has just become member of the IRB – international Rugby Board.

Speaking at the announcement, Ben Kealy Chief Executive of Digicel Nauru said: “he was delighted to be sponsoring the Nauru Rugby.

Rugby has been a major part of my life back in Ireland with Bective Rangers Rugby Club and I am was delighted to be able to support Rugby in Nauru and bring with that many my years of experience from the Northern Hemisphere.”

The September Grand Prize winner was Mr. Papa Ratabwiy who won a brand new Yamaha scooter worth over AUD$2,000 with the two runner up prizes of iPads being presented to Ms. Eniga Bod and Mr. Brad. Gilla.  The prize giving was attended by Jezza Uepa with the winners announce live on Local radio where Jezza called the winners live during the FM 105 Radio Nauru show.
