Crusaders edge Brumbies

Seta Tamanivalu and Whetu Douglas also went over for the home side, with Richie Mo'unga adding a conversion as a determined Crusaders recorded their seventh successive victory over the Canberra-based side.

Lock Rory Arnold scored an early second half try for the Brumbies, while flyhalf Wharenui Hawera added two penalties and a conversion.

The Crusaders had made a blistering start with All Blacks centre Tamanivalu, playing on the wing, scoring after just three minutes of his first official Super Rugby game for the seven-times champions since his transfer from the Chiefs.

Crusaders confirm Tamanivalu signing

The 24-year-old, who made his international debut this year in the three-match Test series with Wales, is part of the All Blacks squad for Sunday's Rugby Championship match against Argentina.

Tamanivalu is now looking ahead to a new challenge after two years with Chiefs.

Crusaders sign former Wallabies winger

RNZ reports the New Zealand-born, Australian-raised winger already has played 86 Super rugby matches, mostly for the Queensland Reds between 2008-2013.

Ioane, who's played 35 tests, has since played for the Stade Francais in France and is about to return to his second season with the Honda Heat in Japan.

"I have had a great time playing in France and Japan, but the opportunity to be part of a New Zealand Super Rugby team is too good to pass up," said Ioane.

The recently appointed Crusaders Coach Scott Robertson said Ioane was a key signing for the team.

Crusaders well beaten by Lions

The win ensures a first ever Super Rugby semifinal for the Johannesburg-based side, who finished top of the South Africa Conference at the end of the regular season.

The Lions scored further tries through powerful hooker Malcolm Marx, wing Ruan Combrinck and replacement scrumhalf Ross Cronje as they amassed their highest ever points tally against the New Zealanders.

Crusaders lose Nadolo for quarter-final

RNZI reports Nadolo, who is leaving the Crusaders for Montpellier at the end of the season, was not included in Todd Blackadder's squad for the trip to South Africa.

Nadolo suffered the injury in the Crusaders' 35-15 loss to the Hurricanes on Saturday.

Nadolo to leave Crusaders in 2016

Nadolo said he is still loving being a part of the Crusaders, but was excited to receive an opportunity to play again in France after a stint over there with Bourgoin in the 2010-11 season.

Blackadder's crusade comes to an end

They've lost extensive playing riches in Richie McCaw and Daniel Carter for 2016 and long-time coach Todd Blackadder has announced he will finish after the next Super Rugby campaign.

Chiefs to play Crusaders in Fiji

The Chiefs will host the Crusaders in Suva during the Super Rugby competition next year.

The venue for the round 15 match on July 1st is the approximately 20,000-seat ANZ Stadium in Suva.

The Fiji government have announced they have budgeted money for the clash in the capital, which will be classed as a home game for the Chiefs.

In his national budget address, the Fiji Finance Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the government had allocated NZ$1.6 million for the hosting of the match.
