Collaboration to support quality training programmes in Nauru

The partnership will support both institutions to explore and enhance access to training and qualification pathways; strengthen coordination and information sharing between TVET stakeholders; and support quality TVET provision of training programmes offered in Nauru. Nauru TVET within the Department of Education and Training has oversight of all technical and vocational training in Nauru and will be key in implementing these activities.

Senior Pacific Police to develop leadership and management skills

APTC delivered the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB42015) to Pacific island Chiefs of Police in Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Kiribati, Nauru, Tonga and Tuvalu.

The Pacific Faculty of Policing is a joint initiative of the Australian Federal Police and the Australian Institute of Police Management, designed and implemented to complement Australian efforts in providing police leadership development opportunities across the Pacific region.

More than 20 Nauru students graduate from APTC

The new graduates undertook studies in Carpentry, Fabrication, Fitting and Machining, Individual Support, Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and Community Services.

This graduation recognises the new skills and knowledge that each of the graduands can now use in serving their employers, families, communities and country.
