Nauru hospital has received a new ambulance donated by the Government of Japan today.
The ambulance worth $137,000, will further increase the hospital’s capacity to respond to medical emergencies.
This is the third ambulance in the fleet.
The donation of the ambulance is implemented through the Japan Grassroots Grants Assistance Projects (GGP) Scheme.
Nauru Health Minister Isabella Dageago and Deputy Minister Pyon Deiye attended the presentation.
