The one-year deal signed today is a substantial investment and includes the naming rights of the elite competition - AFL Nauru Men’s District Competition.
Digicel Nauru CEO, Christopher Manaog, said; “We are elated to continue our partnership with AFL Nauru. AFL is the most loved sport in the country and we are happy to throw our support behind this popular event. We are looking forward to another successful season this year after two exciting tournaments over the last two years.”
“We believe in giving back to the community and also encouraging our people to live a healthy lifestyle through playing sport. The support for AFL comes along with our continuing sponsorship of other sports events like cycling and weightlifting.”
Digicel will provide cash to help the administration and end-of-season prizes with telecommunications support to organizers for this season. The AFL Nauru Digicel Cup 2022 kicks-off on 18 June.
