Digicel welcomed representatives from the Nauru Government and Eigigu Holdings Corporation to be part of their Money Minded training program.
Designed to be part of Digicel Head Start Training Program, the Money Minded Program gives training to people in their organization and communities the skills to plan for the future, save their money, budgets and set realistic and achievable goals.
The training program was held over a period of three days at the Nauru Secondary School Library and was facilitated by a certified Money Minded trainer, Mr. Samuela Rabuku, Digicel Pacific Learning and Development Manager.
Making a surprise appearance to the training was President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency Honorable Baron Waqa. His Excellency reinforced the benefits of the training for Money Minded and how they can better control their finances.
Digicel Nauru CEO, Francis Thomsen said, “we are very honored by His Excellency presences and remarks on our Money Minded training program.’ He continued ‘We are unique in our ways and diverse in back ground, the Money Minded training program makes us rethink our money spending habits with focus on savings for the future.’
