Kate Winslet thinks this just might be Leonardo DiCaprio's year.
The 41-year-old actress told the BBC during a recent interview: "I think you can sort of feel it, and I think that everyone wants it for him," she said.
"It would be amazing."
DiCaprio has received wide-spread critical acclaim for his role in The Revenant, in which he portrays a dedicated frontiersman Hugh Glass.
Winslet, who is also up for a Best Supporting Actress award, starred alongside DiCaprio in the 1997 blockbuster juggernaut Titanic.
"It's slightly difficult for me too, because Michael Fassbender has been nominated, and I was his right-hand woman for three months while we were making Steve Jobs and I saw how hard he worked," she told the BBC.
DiCaprio has been nominated for five Academy Awards in the past however yet to win one.
