iPhone 6S pre-orders now available ahead of September 25 release

The wait is finally over, iPhone 6S pre-orders are now live, letting you snap up Apple's latest handset ahead of its upcoming release.

With Apple flinging open its virtual doors at 8:01am BST today (September 12), extra eager iPhone fans can now secure the company's latest mobile wares ahead of in-store availability on September 25.

It's not alone, either. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6S has hit pre-order listings alongside its big brother, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6S Plus.

The handsets were unveiled earlier this week and added a new pressure sensitive 3D Touch display and 12-megapixel camera into a body markedly similar to last year's iPhone 6.

With the 16GB iPhone 6S kicking things off with a £539 price tag, the handset's 64GB and 128GB offerings will set wannabe owners back £619 and £699 respectively.

The iPhone 6S Plus is going to give your wallet an extra pounding, however, with the same trio of storage options priced up at £619, £699 and £789.

For the first time, both prospective iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S owners can pick from four handset colour options, with a new pink, sorry, rose gold, model joining the now traditional silver, gold and space grey colour schemes.

For those after a contracted deal, it's not just Apple offering iPhone 6S pre-orders either.
