Taylor Swift has written a song about an ex boyfriend and everyone is assuming it's about Calvin Harris.
The track is called Better Man but she won't be singing it herself - it's been penned for country band Little Big Town.
"But your jealousy, I can hear it now," go the lyrics, "you're talking down to me like I'll always be around".
"You push my love away like it's some kind of loaded gun" she also writes.
The band has confirmed in a Facebook Live Q&A that Taylor is behind the track.
"She sent us this song, and it was one that was really special to her," singer Karen Fairchild explained to fans.
"And she thought of us because of the harmonies, and she's never pitched a song to anyone before."
Taylor also confirmed the rumours in an Instagram post.
Once everyone got their hands on the lyrics, the internet went crazy.
Lines like "I gave you my best and we both know you can't say that. We might still be in love, if you were a better man," were too much for some.
Elsewhere in the track she writes: "I know I'm probably better off all alone. Than needing a man who could change his mind at any given minute. And it's always on your terms."
Taylor Swift's split from British actor Tom Hiddleston happened shortly before the song was released on 20 October which is why fans say it's unlikely the song is abouy about him.
Before that she had been in a relationship with Calvin Harris since she released her last material in 2014.
But of course there is nothing to say that the track wasn't written before that or isn't even about a fictional character.
Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild reminded fans that lyrics can have many interpretations.
"Everybody has a better man. It might have been a lover, or a parent that disappointed you.
"I think the beauty of that storytelling is that we can all relate to being disappointed in someone and still loving them, but saying 'Enough is enough.'"
