Demi Lovato appears a new -- totally nude -- photo shoot on VanityFair.com.
In the revealing pics and the accompanying video (seen below), Lovato shows off her natur
beauty while going makeup-free, sans clothes.
The idea for the racy shoot started while the "Cool For The Summer" singer was spending some time with VF photographer Patrick Ecclesine earlier this week, where Lovato decided to do a spontaneous series of "body-positive" portraits with only three rules in place: No makeup, no clothes and no retouching.
"If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the past day, it’s that life is too short," the 23-year-old told Ecclesine.
"I’m about to launch an album that finally represents who I truly am," Demi continued. "How do I embrace this new chapter in my life? How do I really walk the walk? What does it mean to be confident? It means letting go, being authentic, saying I don’t give a f**k and this is who I am."
"I want to show the side of me that’s real, that’s liberated, that’s free. What if we do a photo shoot where it’s totally raw? Super-sexy, but no makeup, no fancy lighting, no retouching, and no clothing. Let’s do it here, let’s do it now," she said.
While we've never seen the former child star this exposed before, Demi does look pretty amazing.
The "Skyscraper" singer has been a lot more comfortable with her body these days -- she even posed topless for the October/November issue of Complex magazine earlier this month.
