The crown will be handed over for the first time to the winner of the Miss Nauru 2016 pageant and will be used as the perpetual crown for future pageants.
The organising committee is looking for the crown design that reflects elegance and is sturdy and of good quality.
The crowns must be made of local and/or natural material including tree fibre, shells, pearls etc.
They must also encircle the head and sit comfortably and securely and be adjustable.
The completed crowns must be handed in before 4pm, Friday, May 6 at the Office of Chief Secretary
They must also be packed in a secure box (to keep safe) when handed in.
