Blackadder and Matson off to Bath

Blackadder who is leaving the Crusaders after eight years as head coach, has signed a three year deal with English club Bath.

Tabai Matson, who has been Blackadder's assistant at the Crusaders, is also joining him at Bath having signed a four year deal with the club.

Blackadder said while he would miss the Crusaders set-up and friendships, there were some things he certainly would not miss.

Blackadder misses out on Reds top job

Stiles and attack coach Matt O'Connor had been appointed interim co-coaches after Richard Graham was sacked after two games of the season.

The pair guided the Reds to only three wins and second-last place in the Australian conference this season.

Blackadder and former England coach Stuart Lancaster had both been linked to the job.

They've lost extensive playing riches in Richie McCaw and Daniel Carter for 2016 and long-time coach Todd Blackadder has announced he will finish after the next Super Rugby campaign.
