Germany coach Horst Hrubesch has no interest in talking about Neymar, warning Brazil they needed to stop his team in the men's football final at the Rio Olympics.

Hrubesch's men have scored 21 goals on their way to Saturday's decider, with Serge Gnabry and Nils Petersen netting six apiece.

Usain Bolt was unsurprised to see Justin Gatlin fail to make the final of the 200 metres at Rio 2016, claiming the American is "slowing down".

To press on with the Games in Rio, the second most affected city in Brazil by the Zika crisis, would be "irresponsible" and "unethical," the letter argued.

"Our greater concern is for global health. The Brazilian strain of Zika virus harms health in ways that science has not observed before," said the letter, signed by experts in the United States, Britain, Australia, Canada, Norway, the Philippines, Japan, Brazil and South Africa, among others.

FINA has accused them of showing “disrespect” for their requirements by providing substandard facilities and failing to act on warnings about the hazardous nature of the open water swimning venue at Copacabana beach and nearby open-air venues for diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.

In a letter seen by Associated Press, the FINA President, Julio Maglione, has complained to the Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes about a range of issues.
