The woman, now 43, has filed a lawsuit alleging that the couple harassed her to try to make her take back her claims, US media report.

Petty served four-and-a-half years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted rape of the then teenager.

Last year he was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender.

In the lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the woman alleges that Ms Minaj offered her $500,000 (£360,000) via an intermediary in return for recanting her accusations against Petty.

Chapman sued Minaj in 2018, saying she had used portions of Baby, Can I Hold You Tonight in her song Sorry.

Although the song was never released, a leaked version made its way to radio DJ Funkmaster Flex and went viral online.

Chapman accused Minaj of sharing the song with Flex, although both have denied that version of events.

Minaj wrote Sorry with fellow rapper Nas while recording her fourth album Queen in 2018.

Minaj received a raft of backlash after making her relationship Instagram official last year, when it was discovered Petty was a registered sex offender in New York. 

Now less than a year on, the 'Starships' singer has shared the news of her secret wedding with her 106 million Instagram followers with a post captioned: "Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10.21.19". 

The video, which has earned over 4 million views in 18 hours, shows two mugs that say 'Mr' and 'Mrs' and two hats that read 'Bride' and 'Groom'. 

Her headline billing at the festival in Jeddah triggered an outcry from critics of the country's human rights record.

Others questioned how her revealing outfits and explicit lyrics would go over in the ultra-conservative kingdom.

Saudi Arabia has been trying to ease restrictions on entertainment and to encourage growth in its arts sector.

Scrutiny of the country's human rights record intensified after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul last October.

The two rappers both went to the same LaGuardia High School in New York but have feuded for years.

Azealia said she "cried a bit" when she saw Nicki's reply.

The majority of the pleas were for less than $1,000 (£770) but she seemed to agree to pay $6,000 (£4600) to one student if he could be prove what it was for.

The fan, called Josh, said it was for tuition fees, accommodation, food and books.

She joked that if she didn't stop with the donations she wouldn't have "any money left".

Around 30 fans were chosen.

In her latest project Goebel choreographed the video for Jason Derullo and Nicki Minaj called Swalla.

The video posted online on March 17, 2017 as already chalked up 6.2 million views.

Goebel is not dancing but members of her ReQuest dance crew can be seen on the music video.

The ReQuest dance crew have had global exposure and praise ever since starring in Justin Bieber’s Sorry music video which has nearly 2.3 billion views on YouTube.

It happened at her luxury mansion in Beverly Hills but the rapper wasn't there at the time.

Its reported the home was vandalised during the raid, with some of Nicki Minaj's clothing cut up.

Furniture was destroyed with picture frames and perfume bottles damaged too.

"It is still undetermined how burglars got inside the home," said an LAPD spokesman.

"They took jewellery and other property totalling approximately $175,000."

It's understood police are looking for CCTV but no suspects have been identified yet.
