The ceremony took place in Nauru on 12 November.
The Embassy of Russia in Canberra, Australia tweeted that at the meeting held after the official ceremony, various aspects of Russian-Nauruan relations as well as prospects for strengthening cooperation in international matters were discussed.
“Mutual commitment to traditional friendly relations between Russia and Nauru was reaffirmed.”
Ambassador Pavlovsky also paid courtesy calls to Cabinet Ministers during his visit.
