High Commissioner

Thomas Edward Coward is the new High Commissioner of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Nauru and the Solomon Islands.

High Commissioner Coward took up his appointment in December 2021, succeeding Dr Brian Jones.

Ms. Padmaja is presently High Commissioner of India to Fiji, with residence in Suva.

Prior to her appointment she was Deputy Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations.

Nauru and India established bilateral relations in 1968 at the time of the island nation’s independence.

Nauru has an Honorary Consul General in New Delhi.
