The major sponsoring company for the Flying Fijians hosted its workers for a breakfast gathering and rugby watch party.

FIJI Water’s Associate Vice President, Michael Lynch said “FIJI Water paused production at its bottling plant in Yaqara for a few hours so that all employees could gather to enjoy breakfast and watch the exhilarating match between Fiji and Wales.”

“FIJI Water hosted the Rugby World Cup Watch Party with a dedicated FIJI WaterFan Zone, which was set up at the loading docks.”

The national side went down 32-26 in what was the match of the round.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Nayacalevu said they’re sorry for not getting the win.

He added they understood the expectations but it didn’t go their way in the end.

The inspirational skipper also urged fans to keep on supporting them in their World Cup campaign.

Fiji faces Australia in Saint Etienne next weekend.

After last weekend's first win over England the Pacific islanders moved up to seventh, as they prepare to start their tournament against Wales on September 10.

"It changes nothing for us," Raiwalui told reporters.

"We haven't thought about the rankings. 

"We've been taking it one game at a time. Since the preparation started we had a goal of improving every week. 

"The objective and goal doesn't change," he added.

The former national flyhalf added he’s impressed with our current number 10, Caleb Muntz.

“I think they’re better than us. Not as good-looking as us, but they’re better, and yeah, I think they’ll do better than us, and I hope they do. And my shout out to Caleb Muntz, my man.”

Fiji has lost only one Test out of five since the new coaching team led by Simon Raiwalui took over the reins from Vern Cotter six months ago.

Raiwalui said compared to before where they sometimes just get together a week before a game, this squad is well ahead in terms of preparation.
