The FDC features the Republic’s crest embossed in gold as the postage stamp, the First Day of Issue cancel (postmark), and a cache featuring the crest in full colour with the relevant dates and anniversary year.
Chairman of Nauru Post Samuel Grundler presented President Baron Waqa a folder containing the first day issue and explained the gold embossed stamp that is to signify the golden jubilee year for Constitution Day and Nauru.
President Waqa then presented the folder to Minister Scotty.
