Celine Dion

Celine Dion's exclusion from Rolling Stone's 'Greatest Singers List' sparks outrage

Published on New Year's Day, the list ranges from Aretha Franklin to Rosalía and other artists known for standout singing.

But some on social media are calling out what they consider to be a Titanic mistake - Dion's absence on the list.

"Respectfully, not including Celine Dion, arguably the best vocal technician of all time, in this list is borderline treasonous," producer, promoter and recording artist Jamie Lambert tweeted.

Celine Dion shows off impressive rap skills on 'Ellen'

If anything, the 48-year-old singer proved there's nothing she can't do with her million-dollar chops.

Although hesitant at first, Dion rapped lyrics from several hit songs including Nelly's "Hot in Herre," LMFAO's "Shots" and even Missy Elliott's "Work It."

But when it came to Britney Spears' 2013 hit, "Work B**ch," the Grammy-winner refused to repeat the derogatory lyrics and even said, "I could not go on with what was written there, sorry about that."

That's okay Celine Dion, our hearts will go on.

Céline Dion: 'I lost the love of my life'

Dion sat down with People for its cover story to talk about her life since she lost both husband René Angélil and brother Daniel Dion to cancer.

The singer is scheduled to receive the Icon Award and perform at Sunday night's Billboard Awards. She will be singing a cover of Queen's "The Show Must Go On," at the awards and told People "René always insisted the show must go on."

Why Celine Dion didn't attend her brother's funeral

The 47-year-old publicly mourned the loss of her beloved spouse Rene Angelil on Friday with the couple's three children by her side.

She was part of her sibling's memorial service a day later, but sources tell Entertainment Tonight, grief took its toll on the star, and she was forced to skip another day of mourning in front of the media and fans.

Instead, the Think Twice singer paid her last respects to her 59-year-old brother at the memorial service, held in Salon Charles Rajotte in Repentigny.
