The high commissioner presented the letter of recall from her predecessor and her own letter of credence appointing her as High Commissioner to Nauru.
President Waqa welcomed High Commissioner Tierney and hopes for continued mutual understanding and partnership between their two countries during her tenure as high commissioner to Nauru.
Tierney also paid courtesy calls on the deputy Speaker of Parliament Asterio Appi and Cabinet Ministers.
