Snapchat snaps up shows from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maddie Ziegler

The social media giant has launched Creator Shows, which are filmed in a vertical format.

Schwarzenegger's show is called Rules of Success and features him giving motivational advice.

More series will premiere this summer from the likes of comedian Kevin Hart.

Teenager dancer Maddie Ziegler - who has performed in music videos with Australian pop star Sia - and tennis star Serena Williams will also host their own shows.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Creators Shows will allow Snapchat's most popular creators to extend their reach and make money.

Arnold Schwarzenegger 'stable' after heart surgery

The Austrian-American film star and former California governor, 70, had a scheduled procedure to replace a valve at Cedars-Sinai hospital on Thursday.

The device was installed to repair a defective aortic valve in 1997. Thursday's operation lasted several hours, TMZ website reports.

Schwarzenegger is said to be recovering well and reportedly commented after waking from surgery: "I'm back."

His spokesman, Daniel Ketchell, said that Schwarzenegger was "in good spirits".

The Terminator star couldn't resist diving in front of the Thai visitors as they were posing for a group shot in front of the Eiffel Tower.

On a bike, in dark glasses, shorts and a camouflage jacket, the actor was understandably unrecognisable to them.

He later thanked them on Instagram for "letting me crash your photo!"

The former California governor told CNN in a statement that he will not be returning to host the reality program, which was once hosted by President Donald Trump.

"I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett. Everyone -- from the celebrities to the crew to the marketing department -- was a straight 10, and I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn't have this baggage," Schwarzenegger said in the statement.

"So much for being a movie star," wrote the US president-elect, who described himself as a "ratings machine".

In response, the actor called on him to work for all Americans "as aggressively as you worked for your ratings".

Monday's season launch was seen by an estimated 4.9 million people - down 43% on the last season premiere in 2015.

Schwarzenegger, who was dressed casually in a navy blue polo shirt and khaki slacks, was photographed exiting his fancy convertible sports car. Shriver, meanwhile, looked chic in a dark blue wrap dress teamed with a white handbag and classic sandals.
