WBC heavyweight champion boxer Deontay Wilder was quick to shut down sport commentator Marcellus Wiley who suggested he choked in his title fight against Tyson Fury.
Wilder, 32, dropped Fury twice in his split decision draw in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The American fighter told former NFL defensive end Wiley on the Speak For Yourself sport show that he deserved to win the fight.
"I wouldn't say choked, I wouldn't say choked because I was still the aggressor and I still landed more effective punches, being that I was the smaller guy," said Wilder.
"There is no choke in me."
Wilder admitted that he went away from the game plan, however.
My emotions got the best of me and I was very anxious to get him out of there. I promised people that I was going to knock him out and that was my main goal," he said.
"And that whole game plan of me coming out and staying patient and doing the thing I had to do, went totally out the window."
Wilder went onto say later in his interview that there will definitely be a rematch between him and British boxer Fury.
