Nauru Commonwealth Games athletes undergo Covid-19 test

Team Nauru went through Covid-19 protocols which included a Rapid Antigen Test after arriving back in the country yesterday.

The team of over 20 team members consisting of officials and athletes were flown in on a Nauru Airlines flight.

They represented the country at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

The team brought home a bronze medal which was won and proudly worn by the superstar weightlifter Maximina Uepa.

Nauru continues to participate at the Commonwealth Games after making its debut in 1990.
