How regional students can benefit from FNU

Fiji National University is the largest university in the South Pacific.

FNU enrolls over thirty thousand students from a wide range of countries, and in a wide range of academic, technical and vocational programmes.

FNU operations are found at 40 different locations across Fiji. Programmes are offered at the Certificate, Diploma, Degree and Postgraduate and Masters levels through five Colleges: College of Agriculture, Fisheries & Forestry; College of Business, Hospitality & Tourism Studies; College of Engineering, Science & Technology; College of Humanities & Education; College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences, and, the National Training & Productivity Centre.

FNU not only makes education more accessible to the people of Fiji but also more accessible and affordable for the people of other Pacific Island nation through its unit cost as well as accommodation cost.

FNU also offers more than 300 programmes that give the opportunity to Pacific Islanders to choose programme that are required or in demand in their country.

Many courses that FNU provides are not provided by any other universities in the South Pacific.

FNU programmes not only give theoretical Knowledge to students but also practically prepare them as students are required to complete industrial attachment as part of the course requirement.

FNU also keeps in mind those who have been working in industries for years yet not having any formal qualification or need to upgrade their qualifications. There are many programmes offered that allow students to grow in par with the expectation of the industries.

Best of all, for students who travel all the way from their Island Nations, will be able to complete their programme and graduate sooner and return home to their loved ones since FNU offers most of its programmes on trimester basis.
