Digicel 4G+ network upgrade set to delight data lovers in Fiji

Digicel today revealed that it is soon to be delighting data lovers across Fiji when it completes the remaining phases of its extensive 4G+ network upgrade in the coming weeks

Customers in the Lami-Suva-Nausori corridor are already experiencing a superior network experience, with super-fast speeds and reliability, with customers in Nadi, Lautoka (including the Mamanuca Group), Labasa, Kadavu and Ovalau set to come online in the coming weeks.

Digicel Founder and Chairman, Denis O’Brien, who was in Fiji yesterday as part of a tour of Digicel’s Pacific markets, said, “First of all, I am delighted to be back in Fiji and to hear that we are fully on track to deliver our 4G+ network upgrade to our customers across Fiji within the coming weeks. At Digicel, we are all about our customers, and about giving them a superior data network experience – with super-fast speeds so that they can stream, share and consume data on their smartphones effortlessly.”

“Our investment in 4G+ underscores our commitment to Fiji and to making reliable, efficient and super-fast broadband accessible to Fijians across the islands – and we are very much looking forward to doing just that in the coming weeks.”

Digicel Fiji CEO, Mike Greig, mirrored Mr O’Brien’s sentiments when he said, “In December, we launched ‘Big Phat’ data plans in Fiji, which offers customers a whopping 7GB of data for $7 for 7 days. Within a few short weeks, this offer will be the only game in town for data lovers as they move over to our super-fast 4G+ network, we can’t wait!”
